This Privacy Policy explains how Muhammad Sufian Arshad ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the CountDown: Event Tracker mobile application.
We built the App with a strict focus on privacy, speed, and local performance. We do not require you to create an account to use the core features, and we do not collect, harvest, or sell your personal event data.
1. Information Collection and Use
Local Storage: The core functionality of the App (creating, managing, and tracking countdown events) relies entirely on local device storage. All the event titles, dates, times, and related metadata you enter are stored securely on your own device. We do not transmit, upload, collect, or store any of your personal countdown data on our servers.
Device and Usage Data: To help us improve the App, we may receive anonymous, aggregated data regarding app performance and usage through Apple’s standard opt-in analytics services. This may include crash reports, device type, and operating system version. This data contains no personally identifiable information and cannot be linked back to you or your specific countdown events.
2. Subscriptions, Billing, and Auto-Renewals
The App offers premium features through auto-renewing subscriptions (e.g., Monthly, Yearly) and a one-time Lifetime purchase. All transactions are processed securely by Apple via the App Store. We do not collect, process, or have access to your credit card details or billing address.
Auto-Renewable Subscriptions: If you choose to purchase a recurring subscription, payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the agreed-upon price.
Managing and Canceling: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions at any time by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase. Canceling a subscription stops future charges, but your premium access will remain active until the end of your current paid billing period.
Refunds: Because all transactions and payments are handled exclusively by Apple's billing system, we do not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly. If you require a refund or have a billing dispute, you must submit a request directly to Apple Customer Support via their portal at
3. Third-Party Services
The App relies on Apple’s native frameworks and services (such as StoreKit for purchases and iCloud if you choose to back up your device) which operate under Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Children’s Privacy
Our App does not address anyone under the age of 5. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 5. Because all data is stored locally on the device, we do not monitor or restrict the content entered into the App by any user.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
